To work...
I have been here since 10:45 this morning...and have done diddly squat. I mean...I have seriously done a whole lot of NOTHING! I normally don't even take a lunch break (because hey, that's an extra hour's worth of pay)...oh but I took one. I just could NOT keep my mind on anything at all...I would jump from one thing to another or just cruise the net. So, I left at lunch (didn't get to eat because I realized in the drive thru I had about 18 cents on me), ran some papers to ACU (yay no chap-hell for me this semester!) and took an 18 minute nap (hardly worth it). Then I cashed the paycheck and came back to work. Now I'm sitting at the front desk because one of the secretaries is sick, and the other one is on her lunch break (from 3-4 gag). I like sitting up here because, well, I get to blog! I can't work on my work from her computer, so I just answer phones, play games, and blog...and occasionally make copies. So, when Susan gets back, I will have 30 minutes left in my day (did I mention we get off at 4:30 on fridays!?) I have successfully procrastinated an entire work day...ooops
I'm so tired! The Doc upped my anti-depressant dosage because apparently my seratonin levels weren't getting enough help (whatever that means). He said it would take some getting used to...and boy was he right. I don't feel sick or anything, I just want to sleep all the time (moreso than usual)....and I really think I could!
Worked out yesterday - yay me! I even upped my workout. Normally it's 10 minutes on the elliptical (usually about all my legs can take) and 45 minutes to an hour on the treadmill. Well, yesterday I upped my elliptical time to 25 minutes (gasp!) and wore my hand weights on the treadmill. I hurt...but that tells me that I'm getting a good workout...right? Well, that's what I'm telling myself anyway hahaha
The Health Club has this thing called a Body Bugg and I really want to try it out...The only problem is it's ass expensive! You can try it out for $250 for 6 weeks. If you decide to keep it, it's another $200 (i think). Yeah...steep. But it's really cool too. Hehe I won't tell you the main reason I want to try one out (insert devilish grin here)
So anyway...it's FRIDAY! YAY!! Oh and even better - class was cancelled this morning, it's friday, and it's PAYDAY! Double Yay! OK, so my entire paycheck is pretty much spent, but I feel this great sense of relief on payday. Sunday the college class at church starts Financial Peace. I think I'm going to do it...or at least see what it's all about. It couldn't hurt, right? OK, so it might hurt my whole "shopaholic" syndrome, but maybe it will also help my "buyer's remorse" complex!
hmmm what else is going on in the world of Biddy...
Oh! Jakey and Morgan have their first soccer games tomorrow! I'm so excited! I was watching video from Jake's first practice and that kid is good!! I'm not just saying that because he's my baby either...he really is awesome at it! I'll be sure to post some pictures and maybe a video from the games! I wish he and Morgan were on the same team - it would make things so much simpler! Oh and gold star for those coaches - anyone that can handle a group of three year olds playing soccer deserves a few!
la te da...45 minutes and I'm outta here...
So, I've been to the fair 3 times...how pathetic is that!? I can't help it...I love me some fair food. And hey, I had free admission all three times so it's even better! I just about croaked when I got on the scale at the Health Club yesterday though...so, no more fair food! I do want to go to the rodeo, but I know I'll end up craving some fredericksburg sausage on a stick and mini donuts (they taste just like funnel cake, but so much easier to eat!) It's a really good thing the fair only comes once a year!
