Hey girl. So sorry about all the lovely water. I don't miss that. Then again we have lots of flooding here too, but not with the west Tejas red soil.

When I heard about an evacuation, I thought about you and prayed that everything was okay.

Jeez, my hubby and I were still there in 2002. Like your pictures, I remember the dealerships moving their vehicles. Wheeeee what fun.

I've been thinking bout you all weekend...looks like you'll have a couple more storms coming your way too..stay safe and keep the puppies safe. Yah got a NY nanny update??

We had the Great Flood..we're STILL recovering from that and it's been a few years.

thanks for your thoughts and prayers, everyone! luckily no one in my family or any of my friends were affected by the flood. a few came close, but we all got lucky!

We could use some of that rain up this way. It's been so hot and they've put us on water restrictions until it rains. I guess it rained some last night, just hope it was enough to make a difference. Stay dry!
