this child cracks me up...seriously...

his latest antics? hehe gotta explain something first:

ok, so my boy goes through these phases of liking one particular food....and will eat that particular food for breakfast, lunch and supper, for a week or two at a time. He rotates weeks with sausage biscuits, breakfast burritos (ONLY from Sonic), turkey and cheese sandwhiches, chicken nuggets, mini corn dogs, and pb&j.

This week, it's "bekfast uh-ritos" but today, he ate the last 2 for breakfast (mimi buys them like 10 at a time to keep on hand) and he didn't want to go to Sonic, so he settled for a turkey "sandich." Mimi made his turkey sandwhich, but was out of cheese slices, so she just sliced some off the chunk of cheddar in the fridge. no big deal, right?

WRONG!

Jake sits down at the bar, picks up his turkey sandich, takes a HUGE bite, hehehe and spits it out. he starts sputtering and spattering like he had just put a live bird in his mouth and he was trying to get all the feathers out....and proceeds to say "oh. my. gosh. MIMI! this has rat cheese on it! that's dis-gus-tiiiiing!" hehehehe rat cheese...

i love the way children phrase things, especially my silly boy....

mimi explained to him that it was the same kind of cheese, just not in a perfectly square slice. he told her again "mimi, this is rat cheese. I am not eating rat cheese. It's disgusting." she told him, again, that it's the same cheese and to eat his sandwhich. "no, i'm just not hungry anymore"

was that the end of it? oh no! he calls my mother to tell her mimi fed him rat cheese and that he really needs her to bring some good cheese over, and could she please please pleeeease go to sonic and get him some bekfast uh-ritos?

and she did.
