I've been getting tagged so much lately i've got all these finger tip sized bruises on my arms (and one on the butt...thanks, Jake) so I guess i better get to writin!

Mary Alice tagged me for this one, and just so you know, it's gonna be hella hard to just pick 5!

Biddy's 5 Most Memorable Nights

  1. any night that involved being on a cushman trip with Mimi & Papa. My childhood (and much of my teenage years) was filled with nights hanging out with my grandparents' friends (most of whom were either drunk or well on their way to being drunk), talking about the day's events, going on night rides to ice cream shops, watching 2 very drunk club members jump across the camp fire (one of which didn't quite make it), and then retiring to the comfy motorhome to watch t.v. and listen to Mimi & Papa talk as I drifted off to sleep. those were the days...
  2. The night of my first kiss. I remember it so vividly. it started out as a really shitty night, i mean shitty. as i sat behind the club my dad's band was playing at, crying, the guy i had been seriously crushing on, came to my rescue. he hugged me while i cried, then he made me laugh. then he told me i had something on my chin. i wiped my chin and said "did i get it?" and he said "no" then took my chin in his hand between his thumb and index finger, tilted my head up to him, and kissed me. definitely the sweetest kiss ever. second on that list would be a kiss that was almost as sweet and definitely as exciting, yet very confusing...and that's all i have to say about that ;-)
  3. the night shayla, lacie and i lied to our parents (ok, technically i was the only one that lied) and stayed at my grandparents' house without them being there. Mimi & Papa were out of town. So, I told my parents i was staying at Shayla's and Shayla & Lacie both told their parents they were staying with me at my grandparents' house (not an uncommon occurence, they just left out the minor detail that my grandparents were out of town). We hid our cars in the garage in case anyone drove by, had people over, played pool, and watched movies when everyone left. sometime around 2 a.m. we decided we were hungry, so we went to IHOP. I had oatmeal. Don't ever have oatmeal at IHOP. It's disgusting. Anyway, during our IHOP adventure (mind you, that's where the drunken people go when the bars close) we decided we should go to Ft. Worth. So, after we left IHOP, we went back to Mimi & Papa's to get a few things, went to Tiger Mart to fill up Shay's gas tank (on the car she had gotten 3 days prior), stock up on NoDoz and Red Bull (i also don't recommend this), and a few other "road trip" necessities (sunflower seeds, water, corn nuts) and we were off. at 3:30 in the morning. we took pictures all along the way, stopping at every road sign that said "ft worth x miles" to take our picture in front of it. somewhere along the way (like, almost there) Lacie remembers she has to work at 10:30 (shit). So, we drove around till we found Hulen Mall, which of course didn't open until 10, took our picture in front of it, to prove we had been there, stopped at McDonald's for breakfast, and drove home. We dubbed it the NDIAS (nuh die us) trip, which stands for NoDoz I Ain't Scurred (I Ain't Scurred was our phrase of the night/morning).
  4. the night my mother and i nearly pissed ourselves watching saturday night live. my dad was playing and mom and i were laying in her bed watching SNL. we already were so tired we had a case of the silly giggles. but then, this SNL "commercial" came on. we both laughed so hard we both were running to the bathroom, red in the face, and unable to breathe. it's not nearly as funny now (though it is funny), but that night it just nearly killed us. as many (ok all) of you know, my mother and i don't exactly get along, so this night definitely has stuck in my memory...
  5. yep, i'm gonna go for it (since Friend informed me today that I have no balls):
the night I lost my virginity. it was clumsy, exciting, scary, and sweet. precious. i remember every single detail, though i'll spare you...definitely a night i will never, nor will i want to, forget.

i'm not tagging anyone, but if you want to do this one, i would love to read it!

You are so lucky you had a sweet first kiss! Mine was all slobbery and awkward and the guy turned out to be a real jackass. My first kiss with my husband was the sweetest I've had.
