great... let's open the floodgates of illegal mexicans because i sooo want to pay for even more of them to get better federal assistance and healthcare than me...
oh wait, at 6 grand a year i don't qualify for any of that...but i still get to pay for them to!

I understand. I would like to be assured that these truckers and their trucks will be subject to the same safety standards, insurance requirements, and emissions/ smog standards that our American truckers are subject to. It sounds to me like a rush job on something that may not be well thought out….and also… will each driver be thoroughly documented? We won’t in hindsight realize that it was an easy way for a terrorist cell to gain entry to the US by obtaining employment as a truck driver through one of those companies? Maybe far fetched, but I could never have imagined the scenario that unfolded on 9-11 either.
Don't even get me started on this issue!
