breaking news

this just in...the sack dress is back in style. Dolce & Gabana, Bottega Veneta, Cavalli, and of course Gucci are all about the shapeless sack this season. they just made them about 20 inches shorter than the 1950's version. oh, and they also cost about 20 times more than the 1950's version. And, there are lots of versions of the sack to choose from:

"At times, the Gucci sack is straight up and down in bold graphic prints. At other times it flares out at the knee in a burst of fabric. For evening, the dress is either draped in the back and flat in front, creating a tortoise shell effect, or puffy and rounded. Almost always the style is strapless." except for the pictures shown on the article that all have some sort of strap or sleeve.

now doesn't that sound like something you totally want to go spend a month's salary on? i know i do!

"The belt plays a central role cinching tiny waists or creating an empire waistline" for 95% of us without tiny waists, we need to apparently go for the maternity look...and why the hell does a tiny waist need to be cinched anyway!? to make the other 95% of women turn to bullimia??

Gucci has also released it's first women's fragrance. It took them three years to come up with the perfectly catchy & creative name: "gucci by gucci"

on to some sad, sad news folks. just when we thought they were classics: "Jeanswear is out, as are pants and Bermuda shorts."

biddy will now apparently have to go to work in her panties because, well, she just can't be out of style!
