ugh...i'm just so tired of being overweight. i know the surgeon is going to tell me i have to lose weight to help my back. and, i'm tired of looking like a beached whale. and, let's face it, i'm never gonna find a man until i get some of this weight off. and damnitt, i need a man! (no offense Friend, I know you understand)
i know, i say i'm going to do it all the time, but this time, i mean it...i'm in too much pain to not do something. since i hurt my back, i've lost about 12 pounds. i have no idea how, other than i just haven't had much of an appetite. i'm not eating any better, but i'm eating a lot less. a lot. so, i figured while i am already on this path, i might as well stay on it a while.
i've done the points thing before. lost 25 pounds the first month i did it...then i went back to africa and well, it's difficult to do weight watchers when you're in africa, cause let's face it, you don't always know what you're eating...and believe me, sometimes you don't wanna know...
anyway, that was like 2, 3? years ago and i just never got back on track. whoops...and needless to say, i've gained it all (and then some) back.
wish me luck...i'm damn sure gonna need it...

Girl, YOU can do it!!!
Heck, if I can, anyone can.
I started counting points last April ....I'm down 45lbs (15 more than I was trying for) ... you can do it too!!! Set a goal of 5 lbs at a time.
I have two ruptured budging disc's that I have babied over the past couple years to stay away from going under the knife ... since the weight loss .... wayyyyyyyyyy more bearable. Big difference in the pain level.
Good luck, my friend. You did it once and you can do it again.
I had to laugh at your plate picture. Ain't that the truth, though? Cripes.

Weight watchers is awesome.
I use a varietion of it myself.

"BIDDY!"
Goooo Biddy!

I'm going on a year..I haven't lost as much as I should but in a about 2 years I've gone from plus size 20 to regular people 14 or 16. Boy it feels good. You know WW really isn't a "diet"...cause you can eat everything. Just not ALOT of the bad stuff. You can do this!!
ps..I love that you are going from a black man in drag to a skinny white gir. Good luck w/ that part..
I'm so joining you. Have I told you that the beautiful wedding dress I bought no longer zips up? They say it's because I was 15 lbs lighter when I bought it-- and I'm not heading back in that direction. I must change directions.
I will be there for support my dear.
