wow...there's a lot of shit going on in our world. i'm realizing more and more just how much of a hermit i become on the weekends. i get to the office on monday morning and spend a good hour just reading the latest news and saying (usually) to myself "WTF?"
like this? holy freakin cow! i don't know who i feel more sorry for: the ex-girlfriend or the parents of the whack job. no parent should ever have to bury their child, but can you imagine being in that poor girls place? being chased down by your crazy ex, watching him kill one of your friends, and then himself? i'm pretty sure i'd never date again! she's 16! no one, especially a 16 year old should experience such a horrific event...eeeep
and then there's this....the one place you think you are safe from harm. i see two very different views on this one. for starters, a lot of people are going to be asking "where were you, God!? How could you let this happen?" Yeah, i get that. i've asked those questions many many times. but on the other hand, i think if i were going to be gunned down (knock on wood) I would want it to be while I'm at church praising my Lord. Of course, that would require me to get my butt back to church...
ummmm i don't remember this one, but i'm glad they arrested someone. he kind of reminds me of what's his butt...
oh come onnnn....i'm sorry but really, i gaurantee there are animals all over the country that are treated worse than the horses in NYC. i can't imagine NYC without horse drawn carriages. they just go hand in hand!

now, don't get me wrong...i lurve me some oprah. BUT, seriously!? are we going to elect a guy to office because Lady O is backing him? c'mon now!
i beg to differ...i mean, yeah, linds is not the brightest crayon in the box, but really, i can name a few right off the bat that have to be dumber than linds. can we sayyyy Paris? Britney? Jessica!?!
this just in: in case you're wondering what to get me for christmas, i'll take pretty much anything from this list :-) oh, and Marques? we'll have to talk about what you can get me heh

After hearing Oprah's rant(and don't get me wrong I love me some Oprah)..I asked a co worker, "Um what does the I have a Dream, MLK speech have to do w/ a half French half Carribean guy from Chicago?
I read a book because of Oprah..not vote for president because of her..although I'd rather she back him than Hillary.
yeah, Oprah has left a bad taste in my mouth over the past few years. I really loved her the first ten years and then, I don't know. I do like her magazine.
