WITH MY NEW KITCHENAID MIXER!!! oh yes I did get one for christmas! and I got some fun matching accessories, like the measuring cups and spoons, a bunch of spoonulas, a silicone pastry brush, THE WORKS!








and then, oh did I find a little treasure at Bed Bath & Beyond:

so, today while procrastinating working hard, i stumbled onto this fantastic website that i am so beyond in love with, i might just have to marry it. hey, if a man can marry a man, surely i can marry a website. just look at this stuff that would be the perfect addition to my now pink and apple green kitchen:

can we sayyyyy orgasm?!?! uh huh...they only look vintage. but baby, they are brand new with all the brand new appliance amenities, like an ice maker and water dispenser and all that jazz. i kid you not, years ago i thought of creating a company to do this very thing because I lurve me some retro appliances. and look! now they have matching dishwashers!

it just makes my heart skip a beat...


now, changing gears, i've got some additional muy importanté news:

today, january 8th, is the birthday of someone we all know and love:

yep, it's The King's birthday. And I cannot believe I haven't seen anything about it on MSN or Yahoo. Sheesh! Today is also the birthday of my sister, Monica (but I still call her "Sister") and my friend Shayla (i've known her since i was 3). But let's face it, they're just not nearly as gorgeous as this hunka hunka burnin love:

yep, i'd totally get my monica (lewinsky, not sister) on with him, you know, if he wasn't dead and still looked like that...

anyway, moving on to the sadness of my bald spot. it's called Alopecia and basically it's just a nerve thing. apparently i've been a little stressed since i hurt my back. alopecia makes your hair fall out in perfect circles. it's not a fungus, it's not contagious. it will grow back. i could opt for steroid shots in my head like morgan did, but uh, no thanks. i've got enough hair to cover up the spot and the cortizone cream seems to be helping. i could also opt to put rogaine on it. we'll see...

I haven't caught any more mice. but there are traps all over mi casa. really, the scoreboard should read something more like: "biddy 3, mice 52416541654" because of the constant state of paranoia i'm in. "what was that sound? was it a mouse!? what is that spot on the carpet? is it a mouse terd? are you sure it's just lint!?" ugh...no wonder my hair is falling out! I'm so paranoid about them, i've yet to take my beautiful mixer out of the box because i'm afraid they'll try to nest in the bowl or something. ewwww So, mice, if y'all are reading this, a) get off my laptop, and b) GO THE FUCK AWAY! Couldn't you guys go next door? There's a whole house that's EMPTY! just think of the luxury you would be living in! I'll even bring some food over for y'all. just get the hell outta my house!

lastly, i'm considering applying for another job with the school district. i would still be in technology, but in a different office. it's a pay cut, more hours, and in an office i don't really want to be in. but it has benefits. and we all know how much i need insurance! what should i do!?

p.s. who wants to loan biddy some money so she can go to MDCQ2?! ugh if only it was the next weekend!
