chompin at the bit...

no news yet on the job. i'm going a little crazy. ok, a lot crazy. and i want to cry. why do i want to cry!?

i cannot believe i forgot to tell y'all this yesterday:

As i've said before, i'm working on various campuses right now. we are working one on one with basically every staff member in the school district. yesterday, we had our 489387th meeting. afterwards, only one person wanted us to come down and work with them (everyone was ready to go home). so, i went down to her room with her because i was the only one that didn't have to be at the ad building right then. The woman was really nice and funny. she was an olderish lady (i'm guessing late 50's). anyway, she asked me why i was walking so funny. so, i told her the short version "i have 2 herniated discs in my lower back." well, she wanted to know the whole story. so, i told her the whole story. she asked about getting it fixed, so i told her that whole story and that i had interviewed for a job that afternoon and that it was the perfect job for me and it had insurance so i was just going to keep praying about it. she excitedly says "ooooh! can i pray for you? i'm going to pray for you!" and i was like "oh thank you! i would appreciate that" (thinking she meant, you know, later on she would pray for me.) nope...she definitely grabbed my hands and started praying right there for me. it was SO sweet. i was crying by the end of it.

I know God is in control of this...I know He is. But let me tell you, it is AWESOME to know there are perfect strangers out there praying for me...
