ok, so as most of y'all know, i'm half black/half white. what? you thought i was mexican? yeah, you and every mexican in my hometown apparently.
anyway, i'm half black/half white. a zebra if you will. oreo. whatever. i constantly use this fact for comedic relief. anytime my (white) mother does something like forget to order something for me when she picks up supper for the whole family, or along those lines, i'm always saying "it's cause i'm black, right?" and we all laugh.
several years ago, i watched a chris rock special called "bring the pain." if you are a chris rock fan, you've probably seen it. there was part of this show that particularly made me pee my pants laugh like a hyena. why? because not only is it so damn funny, it's so damn true! afro reminded me of this with her post about "da first of da month" and i just felt compelled to share!
you'll have to turn the sound up because the sound pretty much sucks. and, if you're at work and don't have your own office, you might want to use headphones. i'm just sayin...

Holy. Shit. I've never seen this and I love Chris Rock!!! In a perfect world I would be able to put this on a television and blare it through the bank on the first and third every month.
It's pathetic here. Why do you think I refer to it as the Dirty D? And live in the middle of nowhere and drive 30 minutes to work everyday and pay for private school when I can't afford to live in anything but a trailer...

Sometimes I cringe, only b/c I don't want anyone to take offense, ya know? I am ashamed of the color of my skin sometimes...I'll leave that for another post.
