i wasn't gonna say anything

...because i haven't exactly been cheery in the last forever few weeks, but i just can't.

yesterday, september 12th, my precious great-grandmother would have been 92. ninety-two. wow. imagine all the things she saw and experienced in her lifetime. amazing.

i didn't make it out to the cemetary, and i should have. instead i sat in line for half an hour at the gas station because our lovely oil companies love to take advantage of people when things like Hurricane Ike happen.

Nana, i still miss you like crazy. it's still so hard to believe you're gone. i hope your son, brothers, sisters, parents and friends threw you one hell of a birthday party up there :-)
