losing it? possibly

so, in a few short hours, i will be heading out on my THIRD family roadtrip of the year...voluntarily...

i know, milestone.

unfortunately, this is not a trip for fun. last week, one of my dad's cousins was killed in a terrible car wreck on her way to work. i don't know all the details, but i know she was traveling at a "high rate of speed" and the guy that ran a stop sign and t-boned her was also traveling at a high rate of speed. i honestly didn't even think to ask about the guy that hit her. my dad is pretty upset about this. i'm sad...i just didn't know her all that well.

so, in the morning (oh wait, it is morning) we will hit the road for 355+ miles (one way, folks...in the backseat of a PT Cruiser) to my dad's little hometown in east texas. the funeral is not until monday, so we will come home tuesday.

i'm looking forward to seeing my dad's family again so soon, but i hate the circumstances.
