Boy? Girl? Hermaphrodite?

OK, so apparently I was WAY off on the puppies genders! The one I have posted below as "big brother" is actually Big Sister. The one I have posted below as "baby girl" is actually baby boy. "Baby It" is also a boy. I'm doubting myself, but still fairly certain the two that died were girls. Went to the vet today. Mama and babies are healthy and doing just fine. It was really funny to see Chablis being so protective of the pups and how antsy she got when Mark was examining them. I put the puppies in a fairly small box with a towel to transport them in and Chablis did not like that at all! When we made it to Mark's office and were put in an exam room, I put the box on the floor so she could see the puppies were fine. Next thing I know, she's IN the box with them! Keep in mind this box was small so she literally took up all the room. I was afraid she was squishing the pups but somehow she didn't. I have no idea why I didn't take a picture because it was absolutely hilarious. I've cuddled with the pups several times and i'm not sure that's such a good idea. They are so so so precious but I know that I can't get attached to them...there's no way i can handle or afford 4 dogs. There's just no way...Chablis is expensive enough as it is!

On a completely different note...

Some of you already know this, but for those of you who don't, I am having an EKG tomorrow. I have been sick for nearly 3 months now (well, actually i was sick pretty much all of 2006), have been on 4 rounds of antibiotics and decongestants, had an "elephant" shot (in other words, an incredibly strong shot that should have killed any and every infection existing in my body and hurt like the dickens), and I'm still not well. I have had a low grade fever off and on, and most of my symptoms say Pneumonia. However, after the elephant shot and a steroid inhaler, my lungs now sound clear. The problem is, I still cannot breathe and my heartrate is really fast, and i'm very jittery. I just feel like poo. So, the doc had x-rays done on my chest and they did bloodwork. I'm not anemic, my thyroids are fine and my lungs are perfectly clear. So, next on the list is my heart. I have to be at the hospital at 6:30 in the morning (gag) so I'll update tomorrow afternoon...
