a few days ago i left a comment on Jenny's blog and in it, i used the phrase "healed up and haired over" she in turn responded "healed up and haired over is my new favorite phrase"
my silly Papa used it all the time and it (along with many other of his funny phrases) has just become part of my family's (mostly my) vocabulary. i really miss that funny man...
anyway, other than from me, has anyone else heard "healed up and haired over"?

For real, it's the most awesome phrase I've heard all month.
It reminds me of when I got my cat fixed and she didn't look quite right until she started to..um...hair over.
I haven't heard it, but it makes so much sense. :)
No..it seems like a phrase you would use if your dog was injured..you know?
