so, I just got home from the dentist's office. yes, I know, i'm supposed to be on bed rest blah blah blah. BUT you see, i've had this ginormous hole in one of my teeth for quite some time and it finally started hurting like a sonofabitch last week. so, today they started the root canal. basically, they opened it up, cleaned it out, pumped it full of medicine and put a temporary filling in.
so, add that to the lovely curve that is my spine, and I look like the Hunchback of Notre Dame after a stroke. damn, i'm sexy.
thanks for all your kind comments. y'all are the greatest! many of you asked what they are going to do for my back. I'm on oral steroids in hopes it will get the swelling down. I also start physical therapy today. I could do another injection, and probably will. But, that doc will only do 3 injections on a person. He says if 3 doesn't fix it, there's no point in doing anymore. So, we're holding out on the last injection. I'm scared about physical therapy. i'm hoping it doesn't hurt too bad. and i'm hoping i can get enough relief that i can SLEEP
i'm exhausted! will update after therapy...

Poor biddy. I'm sorry you are in so much pain. I have a chisel, maybe I can come "tap" your spine back into place?? Anything for you cuz!
I hope physical therapy will help out, a lot. Sorry you've had to deal with so much pain, and expenses. Never fun.
I hope you get feeling better. Teeth are the worst. However in this case, I'm sure you are thinking that about your back. I hope the therapy works

I've just this year started going to the dentist after a 20 year self-imposed absence. Root canal sounds most UN-Fun. They should rename it something more pleasant like "Happy Lucky Tooth (Now with extra Squid)!"

So how is that a root canal..I'm freaking cause I have a hole in my tooth and I have to go Monday..that sounds like a filling..what is a root canal and why did you have to have one...
I bet when you get going on your PT you lose weight too...I bet you.. you are going to be an exercising, physical, theraputic chicky..and I wont' be your friend anymore cause you are one of those skinny girls.
