humbling moment....

oh who am i kidding? it was embarassing as hell.

so, today i was having lunch at like 3:30 in the afternoon over at Friend's house. i was sitting in the living room floor, inhaling my chick-fil-a because i was STARVING by that point. we were watching something about gangs i think. anyway, after the first few gulps, i slowed down so i could actually taste the food.

and that's when it happened.

i choked.

swallowed wrong.

choked as in i thought i was going to die right then and there, choked. oh yeah, it was bad. Friend was at full attention once he realized i couldn't breathe. i was coughing and crying, trying to breathe (but not being successful) annnnd peeing my pants all at the same time.

oh yes. i peed my fucking pants. you ladies know what i'm talking about. when you cough too hard and you pee a little? yeah i was doing that. except i was coughing alot. therefore, i was peeing alot.

so, here i am, dying, trying to do kegels to keep myself from peeing anymore, when i realized i couldn't do that AND concentrate on breathing at the same time.

i finally coughed up the food after what seemed like hours, but was really only seconds. i was still coughing though, but at least i could breathe a little. when the coughing (and peeing) finally stopped, i went to the bathroom to assess the damage.

it was bad. real bad. sadly, i actually thought about taking a picture for your bloggy enjoyment, but decided against it. sorry. although, 3 hours later, they are still wet. no, i'm not still wearing my pissy pants, i just haven't gotten them in the washer yet.

so yeah, today i almost died. instead, i peed my pants.

p.s. y'all were right. i took the christmas tree down and took all the crap off my cute chair and its matching ottoman! oh, and the paint color? don'tcha just love it!? it is one of my absolute favorites. it's one of 4 colors that i have brought into the last 3 places i've lived. i got it from lowe's, and the color is called Northern Glen and it's a satin finish. do NOT get this color in olympic brand. it's just NOT the same. also? if you're going to paint a whole room this color, make sure you have a pretty good sized room and/or lots of light source because it's pretty dark, but GORGEOUS!!
