Dear Jakey,
So, here we are, almost 6 weeks into your very first year of school. From the beginning you've gotten in trouble, mostly for talking, some for your sheer hard-headedness. All along, in the back of my mind, I've thought you're bored.
Last week (or maybe the week before), your mama and your teacher had a parent/teacher conference. Don't worry, she had one with all the parents. Your teacher (whom Biddy is not exactly fond of) told Mama about a test she gives all of her students. She gives this test 3 times (the same test every time) to see what her students know and their progression, at the beginning, middle and end of the year. According to Mrs. R, in her "17 years of teaching kindergarten" (btw, i'm getting really sick of hearing how long she's been teaching kindergarten), 98-99% of her students make anywhere from a 23 to 30 on the test the first time they take it.
You made a 65.
Bored? Why yes, yes you are....
I knew you were smart, but damn Baby! Go on, get down wit' ya bad self...

Holy Shit. That is AMAZING!!! Congrats on birthing a genius.
And I concur on the teacher's with experience. My Little Kid's teacher said no less than 100 times in our conference, "I've taught this grade for over 20 years..."
Ugh. It's amazing how they can overlook the obvious with their years+ of experience. I'm just sayin...
