...restless...

It's 12:16 a.m. and I can't freakin sleep. I'm wide awake and it's just not working for me! I want to be asleep...in fact, I've been in bed for the past hour or so desperately trying to sleep...no such luck! I guess it was the late afternoon nap that did me in. Of course, I did go work out for like an hour *go me!* and people keep telling me that actually energizes you. I guess they might accidentally be right. I just can't help but think it should have the complete opposite effect...

I keep yawning...so I know I'm tired...I'm just not sleepy..grrr angry face!

Oh, beore I forget...I was just doing some browsing in my blog and discovered that I had a blog from the 29th saved as a draft instead of a post! So, there's a new old blog down there...nothing much, but it's a new read!

I have absolutely no plans for the weekend and let me just say...I'm loving this idea. Actually, there's a ton of stuff I need to do around the house...you know like, unpack. Yes, I've lived there since the middle of February and I have yet to finish unpacking. It's pathetic really...

My Mimi is back from her cruise *yay!!* They all had a great time...unfortunately, Mimi got sunburned (a big no no for her) and Tyler's girlfriend broke up with him the day they got back to Galveston...ouch...I understand her reasons, I probably would have done the same thing. But, that doesn't change the fact that my little cousin's heart is broken :( so sad! I have a feeling though that they will get back together eventually...

I'm glad Mimi's sunburn is about gone...see, she's not supposed to get burned because several years ago, she had Breast Cancer. She had a masectomy and that got rid of it, and it hasn't returned. However, they informed her after her surgery that she has to take extra precaution to not get sunburned, especially on the upper right hand side of her body (where the cancer was). I'm not sure why but it apparently could cause problems? I don't know, but she better freakin not ever have a relapse of that shit...Our family seriously does not need that...

Wow, I'm seriously rambling...I've gone from ranting about exercise to my non existant weekend plans (yeah big surprise there) to my little cousin's broken heart to my grandmother's non existant boob all in 12 minutes...

Obviously I need sleep...but wait, still not sleepy. I would take some Tylenol PM but then I would just end up sleeping all day tomorrow and then I would be pissed and be right back in the same boat tomorrow night...

hmmm what to talk about...

My mom and dad are taking the Jakester to see The Wiggles live in Fort Worth. haha I don't envy them! Jake is so excited though. He absolutely loves those strange guys...as do a ton of kids apparently! He's also incredibly thrilled that he gets to stay in the ho-tel (how he pronounces it). He looooooves ho-tels. Haha the last time they went to one, they got there mid afternoon and he was so excited he could hardly contain himself. He used his "credit card" to unlock the door, ran in and started jumping on the bed. Then with a huge grin on his face says "I want my jamas!" Ha ha it was hilarious...probably one of those you just had to be there or know him well enough to know how hilarious he is when he's excited. He's so used to getting to a hotel around bedtime that he assumes when you get there you have to put on your pajamas. Then he just dang near had a fit when they left to go see Baby Jack because he wanted to sleep in the ho-tel and make waffles in the morning. Didn't quite catch that they were indeed spending the night, just going out for a while and coming back. Kids are so funny at that age. They know a lot of stuff but don't always put two and two together...precious...

OK, so now that I've gone on and on about my fanfreakintastic nephew...anyone have any ideas on what I should get Jake's best friend for his birthday? Jake's best friend, Jaxon, happens to be Stormy's nephew that is 3 months older than Jake. Small world huh? Well, anyway, Jake and I were invited to Jaxon's birthday party tomorrow. I will be going stag because my date dumped me for a bunch of Fruitcakes that sing songs like "fruit salad, yummy yummy" and "the pensylvania polka"...oh well..at least stormy will be there along with her newest niece and nephew (her sister and sister in law both just had babies) to keep me company. I just love little babies!!!

speaking of babies...check out this awesome onesie i just happened to stumble across online! My child will soooo have one! I love it! I wish I could find a t-shirt like it in Jake's size. Of course, he's too young to appreciate The Man In Black but that doesn't mean he can't promote him! Hey, the child LOVES when he gets new clothes and has to wear them RIGHT THEN...I got him a t-shirt that had a drawing of a drumset on it...he's worn it seriously like 6 times and he's only had it a couple of weeks. He's so funny...

Well there I go about jake again...can you tell i'm just in love with that child?!

I guess I will try again to get some sleep now that it's almost 1...maybe i should play a few games of spider solitaire. Friend always has to play about 2168 games before he goes to bed...maybe he's got something there...
