workin hard...ha!

so, i'm sitting here at work reading about important things like bacon cooking alarm clocks and laughing at my cousin, Heather, because she and her husband took their youngest kiddos to see The Wiggles Live. You just have to know The Gap Ad Family Heather and Rustin to understand why it's so incredibly funny. They are very mellow, laid back, hippy yet modern types.

hippy baby Adalae:I don't know, it just strikes my funny bone seeing them at a Wiggles concert, especially after Heather informed me she had more fun than Reed, her toddler.

anyway, i'm sitting here, at work, with basically nothing to do. I'm sitting here watching my boss unpack, move, and stack the 50+ computers we received yesterday and I seriously feel awful about it. I know, i'm not usually one to enjoy manual labor, but I feel awful that he's having to do that and I can't help. They aren't incredibly heavy, but they're heavy enough that after picking a couple up and transporting them, i'm seriously hurting. I am SO ready for my fucking back to be all better. I want to be able to walk more than 10 minutes without needing something to sit on. I want to be able to do whatever the fuck my job needs me to do! I want to be able to stand up STRAIGHT, DAMNITT!

*sigh*

so, my little cousin, tyler, and hailey got hitched last weekend. they should be back from mexico sometime this weekend. the wedding was great. it was at a ranch here in town and all the details were just perfect. here's my cousin, his best friend and his 2 brothers, waiting on the bride:

this picture just kills me everytime i see it. hailey's dad died when she was in middle school. heart attack, fell over dead. also? 12 weeks ago her stepdad was killed by a drunk driver. hailey had planned on her cousin, cody, to walk her down the aisle from the very beginning, but still, sad. she loved brad, but they weren't really close. she was already grown and basically on her own when her mother married him. anyway, back to the picture. this is how hailey came up to the tent from the other side of the ranch. that's her cousin, cody, at the reigns. and the horse? that's her dad's horse.insert tears HERE! it was precious. she told me she was planning on doing this and i cried when she told me. i bawled when i actually saw it. it was truly perfect. her cousin is your typical tough cowboy, but even he shed a few tears as he helped her down from the carriage and walked her down the aisle.

*sigh*

i just love weddings.

ok, i finally figured out something i can do that actually pertains to my job, so i'm going to go do that. i'll post more wedding pictures later :-)

SO sweet..that first cousin photo though I thought the baby stroller was a headstone and I couldn't figure out why your family had a wedding in a ranch cemetary...I figured even Pioneer Woman woudln't do that.

Anyway..the carriage OMG I would have been in tears too.

Too sweet! Love the carriage.

And it's too hot to blog, BTW.
That, and I'm always on an airplane lately.
And kind of lazy lately, can't forget that... :)

Jason, as himself said...

She lost her dad and then her stepdad? Tough stuff.

On another note, I sure like your fancy new format, Miss Biddy. I'm starting to get a complex.
